Community Involvement
Long Lines is the local communications provider in many communities. We have employees who live there. We try to be part of activities and offer our support and expertise where we can. We enjoy participating in the many events throughout the area. Because our business footprint is very large we can't be at everything, but here are a few of the things we have participated in.
Aster and Rose Ribbon Cutting
Long Lines loves when dreams become reality! We were on hand for today's Onawa Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at aster & rose. Owners Sadie Poole and Savannah Ewing provide beautiful flower arrangements and home and beauty goods from local vendors like Divine Oil Co. by Arielle Kuchel. Stop into their location at 1011 10th St. in Onawa and indulge in things that truly bring joy.
LuLu Fiber Arts Ribbon Cutting
Long Lines was proud to be on hand to celebrate the ribbon cutting at Growing Up Lulu Fiber Arts in Sergeant Bluff. This amazing store, named after owner Amber Hobb's daughter Alaina "Lulu", started from an Etsy shop and "grew" into a full-service yarn, macrame, and needle craft store. They feature yarn, needlework, and macrame supplies, and you can even try your hand at a new hobby in one of their classes.
Long Lines is proud to provide Growing Up LuLu Fiber Arts with the best in communications services.s
Onawa Chamber Coffee
Long Lines had a wonderful time hosting guests at our Chamber Coffee this morning at Downtown Coffee & Cream in Onawa. Shawna Chapman and her team provided some amazing muffins, cookies, and coffee! Long Lines rates it a 10/10....highly recommend. And congratulations are in order for the winners of the gift card drawing: Rob Meyer of BankFirst and Kathryn Keane of Pleasant View Care Center!
Downtown Coffee & Cream has been part of the Onawa downtown area since 2021 and not only serves your favorite coffee drinks, smoothies, and pastries, but also has a great selection of ice cream as well. As the sign says, "Every great day starts with coffee and ends with ice cream." We couldn't agree more!
New Sgt. Bluff Library
Long Lines attended this morning's South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism coffee at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA.
While the YMCA is known for providing fitness and wellness programming for people throughout the Siouxland area, they are also providing critical programs such as their preschool program and new childcare program. For almost 139 years, the YMCA has focused on well being through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Above and Beyond
We love when our employees go the extra mile!
Tonya Johnson, who oversees our Orange City, IA, store location, received a wonderful note and a Scooters gift card for assisting a customer with her bill.
This effort is part of what Long Lines does every day to provide our customers with amazing services and world-class customer experiences.
Kudos Tonya!
South Sioux City Public Library
Public libraries are critical to our local communities. Long Lines enjoyed spending time at the South Sioux City Public Library for today's South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourismchamber coffee.
The South Sioux City Public Library started in 1919 and moved to its current location in 2004. Along with its collection of books, the library provides 18 computers for patron use, as well as educational, informational, and entertaining programs for children and adults. Did you know that the library also offers home delivery to individuals who are library patrons, homebound, and not able to physically come to the library? They also opened their Makerspace in 2022.
